I've played it while teleworking so not really watching, just "noise". I started watching when I retred, then when i stayed with MLSIL during her recovery, we watched it from the beginning. I also got her started on Midsomer Murders. There are a few more mysteries that we watch together.

I'll have to look those up and see if we get them here.

I've started posting stuff on my Patreon account but I'm still not sure what it's going to cost people who access it, or what I might get paid. One sticky point is whether a charge is for a "single access" of a file or multiple accesses. If I post say, a 10min reading of a book, I expect some people might want to play it back twice or maybe three times. In that case, I wouldn't mind that being covered by a single payment. In fact, I would feel badly if they got charged for repeating it, if, say the reason was because I mispronounced a word, or something like that.

I ordered a floor jack and four jackstands. I have to grease the bearings on the trailer and while it's off the ground, I need to check the underside for Spotted Lanternfly eggs. I scraped off, what I think was one, on the side before I left MD. I'll check under the truck and the Honda when MLW and MLSIL get here. I'm just doing my part to try and keep them out of Maine.

Guess it's why I got the little Fujifilm X-100T and Ricoh GR II some years ago: top shelf image makers whose pocketability made 'em perfect for my style. Never entirely comfortable with the photo-nerd habit of toting a big-a$$ bag on the street where I stood out, as Raymond Chandler said, "like a tarantula on a slice of angle food cake." Certain you'll get your always-pleasing sets scoped out.

I still have my Sony RX100 v4 & v3. I've taken those two on many trips.

Finally after 2 weeks I am feeling better. The cold turned into bronchitis. A little still lingering, but overall happy the worst is behind me.

I changed up the floor from wood to stone on this year's set. May change some of the props around. This is a cell phone shot. My two helpers followed me thinking they would get their photo for cheerios.

Yeah, clouded up here, too. My solar storm alerts says M1.33 which I understand means minor activity. So, after a couple of long driving days, I've decided to relax with some hot cocoa and a couple Death in Paradise reruns.

Just finished the Death in Paradise series on Britbox. It was ok - good characters but the plots were repetitive. They all have alibis, the victim only knew 3 people on the island, they all were together when they heard the shot/lights went out/victim was stabbed. However did they do it? But it was good to have on in the background while I was doing a crossword or sudoku or painting…

May take a run at Beyond Paradise next week while I’m prepping and cooking for Thanksgiving.

Would love to see how 2025 handles his research into 18th/early 19thC "wife sales."

If you mean that they should watch the performance and try to make their own Halloween wigs, I agree, but if you are saying that they should carry around a TV set when they go trick-or-treatings, welllll, I don't think so. . .

Many years of experience with trailer bearings and greasing. The EZ lube or Bearing Buddies are not the way to go. Even if you follow the directions inner or outer bearing will not get proper lube. Pull the hub, clean, inspect and pack the bearings (bearing packer is less than $10), replace the rear seal, reinstall and set the preload on the bearings. I do mine once a year on the RV, flatbed, and boat trailers. Doesn't take that long to do it right.

Had a great weekend, our daughter and son in law drove in for the weekend. Family gathering Friday night, and lunch Saturday. 8 adults, 12 kids aged 6 to 25 left us with tinnitus. LOL
