Rainy today. Most of the snow is gone from the driveway and yard. It's still too early to toss a line in the pond. It's starting to thaw but has a ways to go. I guess I could go to the lower Andy River (Androscoggin); I still have four days left on the salt water permit.

Talk about Déjà vu, yesterday the high was 85f, rain moved in overnight and by this morning it was high 30s. Same date in March 1993 same scenario 85f the day before, rain overnight, except the bottom fell out on temperature and the rain turned to snow. Dumped 14" on us before it quit, temperature bottomed out at 0f and the winds howled causing arge drifts that shut down the roads, and toppled pine trees. Just as quickly as it came the temperature shot back up, 3 days later the snow was gone but it took over 5 days to restore power and clear the trees.

Ditto! Same here. 83F yesterday and 35F this morning, with a wind chill of 27F. We had some hellacious winds here as well, and the house was shaking and creaking. Still haven't looked to see if I'm missing any roof tiles.

I did that with a 1980 Olds Omega when I took it off road. It had decent ground clearance for a small sedan. Got the front end stuck on a boulder, and it was a front-wheel drive car. I jacked it up a bit, found some large rocks to place under the front wheels, let the jack down, and was able to back it up off the boulder, and on my merry way.

Yesterday, I got new tires installed on my truck and I love the way it looks now.

Yeah I know it's dirty. I'm still considering a small lift kit but it's not bad the way it is.

They look good. I put Mild A/Ts (Deuler) on the Jeep and couldn't be happier. No increase in road noise and no noticeable drop in mileage. I'm considering a small lift / leveling kit if I ever put on steel bumpers and a winch.

Choose lifts carefully and get it aligned after install. Lifts play hell with steering geometry so spend wisely. A bargain may prove to be very costly. When I bought the Liberty they were new and little was available so I went through a few iterations ending up mixing home made with off the shelf. Moog ball joints were the best improvement of all. Beefier as well as serviceable. I went though some front end parts on that one. Now I'm considering lifting the WRX.

In my case, if I get it done, I'll opt for the Mopar 2" lift. Any more and we'd need to carry step stools to get in.
