The ghost village of Toiano

Hi everybody!
Last week, I visited a very peculiar place, Toiano, not so far from my native town. It's a ghost medieval village where the last inhabitant lived around 50 years ago.

So now it's possible to take shots in a unusual silence and walk in the main street surrounded by abandoned old farmhouses.

I love the starkness of the tree. The composition is great. The eye is drawn 1st to the tree, down the road to the house and then off into the distance.

don't get this in central England you lucky person!
Great shots, the first has great light but feel the forground could be a tad brighter (the chair is almost lost in the dark) without loosing the great light in the background

My thoughts exactly. I shoot abandonments for the most part and this place looks like a dream come true.
