The Tide's Due- before the wave

well, here's the last photo I took before I moved a bit down shore and got slammed by the huge wave. Really praying my camera isn't a total loss, gotta figure out insurance stuff tomorrow. Glad I got a photo I like beforehand at least!

If it's any consolation, that IS a really nice image, as others have said as well. But the rogue waves do cause problems. There's a person from Ontario that was swept away at Peggy's Cove in Nova Scotia (Peggys Cove search for Ontario man ends - Nova Scotia - CBC News). Seems to be a regular occurrence, unfortunately. Good luck with the camera repairs and/or insurance claim.

Sadly a little girl died at Acadia due to a rouge wave at thunder hole.

Not a video of that, just some crazy waves at thunder hole. You can see the railings where normally you can go and stand.
