I really like the way you left the tree on the left in the second shot - it help frame the boy and provides some depth to the image. Very nice low shot as well. The first show certainly conveys the late-night mood very well. The only niggle there is that his head is bumping up against the frame. Otherwise, it works well for me.

Hi Paige,
I'll probably be standing out on this branch by myself but I really don't like #1. To me it just looks like you need to clean your lens.
I do like the openness of the second shot. I did a crop with and without the tree. I'm not sure which I liked better there. I also played around with the sliders and got a little more contrast on the boy, but all in all, the second is a keeper.

I like #1. Kudos to you. I don't think I would have bothered to take a picture in a parking lot......my loss.

Crop wise, I think a tight crop on the upper left showing half his face and that magical light might make an interesting image as well.

Beautiful boy

Hey Rick thanks for your feedback. To be fair...I probably do need to clean my lens :er:

Thank you Desi! I'll have a play with the crop tonight. I hadn't thought of that; I usually don't do major cropping. :)

Love number one just the way it is. Too bad about the head crop, he is a cutie.
