Too Much Water? Over exposed?

Try it and also try a crop off the top. I think you'll see the water is more interesting than the sky

Yeah I'd actually crop off a bit of the top - try to get that line between the water and the trees closer to a third from the top of the frame. Exposure looks good. Nice capture!

5x7 crop taking a bit off the top
Straightened
Adjusted black and white point
Enhanced blue in the sky using color control points
All edits in Capture NX2.

Nice capture - just a bit red and the sky seemed washed out as a result.

Very nice original shot, and even better edit! The foreground nicely frames the water, and as Trever notes, the water is more interesting (textured) than the sky. For some reason, I keep on imagining a pterosaurus swooping into the picture - it seems to evoke a prehistoric scene.

actually some more foreground would have made you shot nicer. the sky was nice too so i dont see why everyone would want you to crop part of it out.
