Tripod reccomendations, please.....

I have a Bogen 3050 tripod, that I've had since the late '70's....this morning, I took it with me, while I started getting used to my D3200.....the Bogen was fine for medium and large format cameras, but frankly, it's just to heavy for an old guy like me to lug around....

What would be some good recommendations for a less robust (but still sturdy) tripod.....tia.....

I love Manfrotto, however I think those are a little bulky and heavy. They may have a smaller model?

Check out the MeFoto CF Globe Trotter. I ran across one looking for something light weight and compact. The CF Globe Trotter fits the bill nicely. It folds down to 16.1' and only weighs 3.7lbs. So it doesn't take up much room in my suit case and it's a good pound less than my old aluminum ManFrotto.
