Love the composition on this one...I'd agree that maybe a bit more contrast is in order, but sounds like you had rough shooting conditions...so under those circumstances this is quite nice

I like the framing - how far away were you, did you have to zoom right in until you had reached the full 300mm (or so)?

(This one and your other photo taken in Vietnam makes me wish I had had more success in persuading my sister to join the forum - I had hoped she'd more deliberately share all her beautiful photos from her travels to such faraway lands as Vietnam, where she has been, too, and where she has taken some lovely photos, too... Eventually... I'll not prod her into anything before her trip to Namibia in two weeks to come...)

I was pretty far away for this one. It was extended at the full 300mm. Definetly try and persaude your sister in joining! I loved Vietnam! Any pictures from there excite me

Actually she has joined here already and is present and has posted a good many photos of our European Meet-Up in the UK on 20/21 August of this year... you can see her there, the meet-up-threads are still stickied to the top of this gallery, but she only comes rarely and I had hoped I could make her an as enthusastic member and as frequent poster as I am, but she is working full-time+ every day, which is why her wonderful photos are "hidden in albums" now... Too bad!
