Is there a way that a Canon digital (e.g., EOS 1, or Rebel) can be connected to a computer, or television receiver, so that images, as created in a studio, and first presented on the camera's tiny screen, are displayed in large, useful format, on an external screen?
This seems quite reasonably possible, but not now available.

The Canon EOS utility can tether to a computer. It's on the disk that came with the camera or can be dowloaded from Canon.

Welcome to the forum.

What you are describing is typically called tethered shooting. If you Google that term, you should come up with several options.

The two methods that I've used are to connect to a computer via a USB cable and have Lightroom import and display the images as they're shot. There is a little bit of a delay.
The other option is to connect to a TV using AV cables, although if your camera has HDMI output, that would work.

You can do this through tethering; but I also remember hearing something about using bluetooth or wifi settings to send your images to a smart tv.
