Trying to post an image, but the site won't allow me.
Do you have to have a certain number of posts before uploading images?

Not that I know of. Personally the only way I've succeeded in adding images have been from a url and then taking the check off the box below the url field.

The Photo forum won't let you upload an image unless you are a contributing member.

Try just posting the BBC code with a link...

I could, but it'd be easier to post in image rather than upload one to my site first, then insert it.

Tell me this....
In the lower right hand of my post windows there is box entitled Posting Permissions. It says You may not post attachments.... code is on.
Any idea of how to change that?

I understand it would be easier, but this forum doesn't work that way. You'll have to upload it somewhere else, and then link it using the [image] tags.

The only alternative I am aware of is contributing to the forum. Here is the sticky...

When you say "contributing member", do you mean a paid member?
If that's the case, signing up would be a no-brainer, or is "contributing" different than a "paid" member?
