Really wanted to try this out, I love photos where the water seems to be moving. This is the tutorial that I read up on, and attempted to re-create with these photos. I know this isn't the best water to try and capture these images, but it's what I have to work with. Easy C & C, as these are my first ever attempt :D

A good start - I have found that for slower moving streams you really need exposures in the 3 second area to get that soft, feathery look. You may also want to invest in a neutral density filter to help you acheive the longer exposure times.

Yeh definitly an ND filter job. Have you got a bit of Camera shake there too? or is it slightly out of focus?

The second one may have some shake, didn't have the tripod for that location, and it was manually focused so it probably is a bit out of focus

Any recommendations for an ND filter for a Nikon 18-55 kit lens?
