Wedding Friday` need advice

I just don't understand other photographers sometimes, why does everyone have to always act like there so much better then someone else. Everyone starts out somewhere, putting others down gets you no where and makes you look like a fool!

Its hazing dude. its cause we dont want you to be a *****.

Like I said, let him go for it. Someone blew some sunshine up his rear, and it was all nicey nicey, so I say ENCOURAGE him to do it. That's the only way this one will learn. (If it's even real-I'm thinking this is a big ploy to pimp another website on this forum).

A rule of thumb: Always expose for the dress.

Make doggone SURE that the rear lens elements on all lenses are CLEAN, and free of spots, smudges, fingerprints, and airborne grease, cigarette smoke, and any other kind of grime. The rear lens element affects the image greatly: a slight smudge on it can wreak havoc with the images when they are seen large--but you might easily miss it on the camera's LCD screen during the hustle and bustle.

I guess if we are going to pretend this is real.....

Like MissCream says, only amended to shoot for the line between the dress and the skin.
