I bought a bag I now need to return. I thought it would be big enough for my camera 2 lenses some filters and a cleaning kit. It isn't. I don't really want to spend more than 60-70$. Any suggestions? I also don't want a backpack as it will ve hard to switch lenses in a hurry. Thanks.

Currently I have two.

1. ThinkTank Retrospective 30 for my normal bag. I love it, best bag I've ever owned. It also doesn't look like a camera bag, which I like while walking around. Retrospective

2. Off-brand clamshell backpack for long trips when I need to bring EVERYTHING + laptop, or I can use that for my lighting kits and the Retro30 for my body/lenses. This one is similar to mine but is higher quality: Lowepro - CompuTrekker AW

I love love love my Tamrac backpack!!

It fits: -2 gripped bodies, -4 lenses (70-200, -24-70, -85 1.4, and a 50 1.4. 2 different battery chargers, few extra batteries, memory card holder, 2-SB900's, tons of filters !

Lowepro slingshot 102aw and a 350 prorunner

I recently got a pellican case big enought to fit 2 flash head with the reflector, cabling, bulp.

Lowepro slingshot 102 AW :) I'm using it for my d7000 with kit lens attach and it fits in perfectly and i even have room for two more lens. This is an awesome back it has a hidden slot for a rain/snow proof jacket you pull out and over the backpack to keep your stuff dry.

An inexpensive and very effective camera carry bag is a messenger style school bag. Keep your lenses in neoprene socks, which are also inexpensive. Neoprene camera body socks are also available. If you can sew, these can all be made at home. 3 mm neoprene is not very expensive at all, compared to 'photo specific' bags and supplies.

I use the prorunner 200 from lowepro. It's a bit of a pain in the ass if I'm hiking to take it off to change lenses but it's the best bag I've found for my use so far...

Thank you all this has given me a good idea of what's available and the plus sides to some of them. So again thanks.

i use a Lowepro Pro Runner 350AW, it fits:

Canon 7D with 70-200mm attached
second body, Canon 450D
three lenses - Sigma 10-20mm, Canon 15-85mm and Canon 50mm prime
External Flash
Rode Video microphone
+ A compartment for a laptop, my 15" Macbook Pro fits perfectly

and in the pockets it fits all my Compact Flash and SD Cards, filters (Polarizer, UV and ND Filters)
+ in the front pockets it fits my event tickets, programmes, note pad, pens, wallet, business cards etc.

and has means of attaching a tripod to the bag for easy carry on trips

i would highly recommend this bag, as you can see it fits ALOT of stuff in it and very comfortable to wear for long periods of time :)
hope that helps
