Straight from the mouth of a 4 1/2 year old.... "What the H3LL is THAT?

I have not seen one of these since I was a small child. Can't remember what they were called. We watch this guy for over an hour.

What you are thinking of has many tiny long legs. This is more closely related to a caterpillar or worm, and isn't a "walking stick" bug.

I don't know, it looks like a walking stick to me...

Although you are probably right about it being some sort of caterpillar.
