What's new

What would you do with this?

a Boxter is just not the same...lol
Ha, Boxter; the poor mans Porsche. You should look up some local car clubs. Might be an exotic club in your area that would be happy to have some shots of their cars done.

BAHAHA! I can count on one hand the number of "exotic" cars I've seen in my lifetime here. I live in OMAHA, NE. The only thing that matters in these parts is displacement. Big V8's and diesel trucks or nothing.

I did order a bunch of business cards and I plan on handing them out at car shows over the season. A lot of the older guys in this area have restored classics that they just might want to have a few snaps of!

Dialed the plate down to 15% saturation.

Can you pick specific areas to un-saturate in lightroom or is that a photoshop function. I have the issue if something needs dialed down, then I have to dial down the whole image which is not always something I want.

Pretty sure that's in Photoshop.

Oh, I bet you anything, there are plenty of exotics in Omaha. Just not the types that flaunt them I bet. There is a Ferrari and Lamborghini dealer 2 hours from you in Albion. I am sure there are some stiffs in Omaha that have gotten rich off of Berkshire Hathaway that have more than a few exotics.

GIMP 2.6 in my case.

Beautiful car. Porsches have great lines and the GTS looks great. You could always go and speak to the Sales manager. Perhaps if you were to show him a couple of pictures you have taken and offer to do some for them? You never know, maybe they might be interested in having a picture of the car in a better setting to give to the new owner. It won't cost them anything and it will allow you to get better shots and see more of the car. I run a dealership (not a porsche franchise unfortunately) and something like this might just work. But just so they don't dismiss you too quickly, try not to make too big a deal out of the car. focus more on the offer of providing them with a nice photgraph that they could give their customer and tell them that you are doing it to build your portfolio. Otherwise, they may just think you want to check out the car. If they say no, you can still cruise the lot when they're closed! Good luck

Try ocf next time, the car would've really popped. Looks alittle underexposed to me as it is..

Believe it or not but I live a block from where Warren Buffet himself lives.
He drives a Ford Explorer. :lmao:

If there are exotic's in town they don't take them to the same shows I go to. :x

'twas an overcast day. I'll blame it on that.

I kid, I kid. It does look a little dark to me. Maybe shoulda taken a few more shots for the HDR processing...

I can't really tell it was straightened much. If you're using photoshop, throw a grid on there and straighten it according to the line along the trunk.

Yeah, looks it, just messes with the eyes I guess. Probably either a pole or wire is throwing it all wonky. Maybe you can clone out those wires?

I'd clone a custom plate on it....something catchy ;)
