Which DSLR is best to use?

As I recently got into photography, and still don't do it as often as I 'd like, due to other commitments, such as school, I bought myself a Canon T5, which ran me about $500 for the body, bag, and 2 lenses from Best Buy.

Grab a used Nikon D90 and a nifty fifty and hit the ground running for about $350. By the time you master those you will have the knowledge you need to buy what suits you best.

Yes, the D90 is obselete. Yes, it will still take spectacular photos... and all for less then the price of one decent piece of glass for any current platform.

Many will disagree with this advice, I will defend it to the death armed with nothing more that my wit and a soup spoon.

Pick any modern dslr by Canon Nikon or Pentax and you'll be buying a good dslr.

Entry level ones are usually more menu driven and built less rugged,

.mid level better built with better control

Pro ones are well, pro.

State a budget, what you like to shoot etc and you'll get proper help on picking a good suitable camera

for the love of god, do not buy a Pentax.
Pentax users are fricking annoying *LOL*

They spend all their time complaining about how they're not getting the same support and opportunities as Canon and Nikon users.
You'll spend a lot of time finding stores that carry Pentax, and having to special order everything.
They're always trying to stick ancient manual focus Pentax lenses on their digital bodies.

If you can afford a Hasselblad *LOL* just get a Canon 1Dx Mk2 or a Nikon D5

Actually, most of us are bragging about how we get just as much (or more) camera for less money

@jaomul Canon T3i (one of my friend has this model)
@Designer budget has no issues, my wife is about to have delivery within one or two weeks. I am hyper-exited, to welcome my baby. Also busy in searching name for baby, please suggest that too.

If you are considering the Canon t3i then check the Nikon D3300, about same price and the Nikon D3300 is the better camera pretty much in everything.
Better low light, better dynamic range, better auto focus system.......and more.

Sadly no.
Thankfully he's also bought a 1Dx MkII so that he can make sure he didn't get the inferior brand.

unbelievable, like buying a big Mac truck to take the kids to school when you don't even have drivers license.
Buying the biggest, badest and most expensive camera assuming if its all of that then it will make the best picture or buying it to impress the guys.
