Which program do you all like for editing?

[adversus]

I've had more problems with Adobe products crashing my machines (across Windows and Mac) than any other software maker save probably Microsoft. I also don't like their interfaces. I did used CS5 during it's trial period, but realized that 99.99% of the functions I need I can get in a the $49.99 Pixelmator. And it also runs faster than Photoshop on my Macbook and Mac Pro.

They pack a lot of features into their software, which professionals like, but I don't like the tradeoffs.
