Why no one cares about your Photography - Sean Tucker

21 limited

You hit it on the head. You like your pictures, they have meaning and emotions that still stir you. Why not post them for others who might share that feeling. Even the silly dog and cat photos will appeal to some.

I think that the point of the thread is to advise people, not to be upset or surprised, if others find absolutely no value in your "art".

I like many forms of music, from Bach to Bluegrass, but I cringe at Opera, Rap and Heavy Metal. It is simply a matter of personal taste and what I find pleasing to my ears.

Interesting thread.

When I take a picture, it is because the subject is within my interests whether that is in it's beauty or some other trait or simply that I want to document the scene for my future memory.

I am not an expert photographer by any means and much of the terminology that is used by those on here to evaluate the pictures coming from modern digital camera's is foreign to me.

I only know what looks good or decent to me and am willing to give up technical perfection for the simple feelings the shot gives to me.

Each of my pictures means something to me, regardless of whether or not it came out the way I wanted.

I am slowly learning the ability to critique my own shots and will likely find someone that can "break it to me gently" in regards to areas that I need work.

I have posted a few of my "favorites" of the moment in various areas of this forum.

They are not perfection, but they are really liked by me.

And in the end, that is all that matters to me!

Well siad. You will know how well you are doing by the positive responses you get from those who view your stuff. At the proverbial end of the day...your opinion is the only one that really matters, unless of course you are in some kind of contest.
