Zoomin and Shakin

Here's my second attempt at this entertaining process...I just pointed at a bunch of leaves and went to shaking, zooming, spinning, and anything else I could think of...I did some post processing on the colors to really bring them out as well...

These are great - could you explain this process a little more to me - maybe in a personal post? These look like a lot of fun and I'd like to try it out! Do you have to have a slow shutter?
