Was this a crop? Looks soft, and you also used a very slow shutter speed for 800mm. 1/60s generally doesn't cut it for anything that might be blowing in the wind.

Great bokeh, but rather anticlimactic for the subject. I'm sure once you spend more time with it, things will get dialed in. I look forward to it.
