Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Hi All,

Took this photo with my phone camera today while on a break. I would really appreciate you comment and critique. I was testing out different options such as macro focus, changing the ISO settings, etc. Thanks.

Giridhar.

ABSOLUTELY Amazing!

I wish I share Parker's opinion.

Your shot is in dire need of PC and unfortunately, the tops of the buildings were cut off. Here's a very quick edit. I didn't spend much time on it, due to it being chopped.

Only the left building is cut off in the original from the OP. You must have some computer problem.

When you run a photo through ANY perspective correction software, you are bound to lose some real estate in the process. What Rick meant was that the tops of the buildings were cut off due to the correction. The takeaway lesson is that one has to plan for perspective correction BEFORE pressing the shutter (i.e., shoot the photo wider than you really need it).

I had a little play using distortion rather than perspective correction, It did mean adding a section to the Right to keep the proportions, I then added a new bit to the top.
By no means perfect, but it shows what could be done, if you felt it was worth it.

Oh, then why is that not the case with my correction?

I don't see a difference to be honest.

Duh, take a close look at the top of the second building in the original perspective correction by Rick and mine. If you don't see a difference now, you need glasses.;)

Thank you all for your feedback, I really do appreciate it, I will take another photo with my dslr and put it up here so you can see the difference.

Giridhar.
