Engagement Shoot in Cincinnati

I've only done one engagement shoot prior to this one, but some friends asked me to shoot some for them. I was pretty happy with the turnout, but let me know what you think.

Did you use anything to fill their faces or just all available light?

It was all just natural light, I just exposed for their faces.

I feel like some fill would of allowed you to not blow the backgrounds so hard and in 1 and 3 you could of brightened up their faces a little.

Maybe use a reflector? Or some fill flash. In this case I think a reflector would of worked great.

Nice pics. For the sake of CC rules are meant to be broken and I hate them but at least one of the pics or so may have benefited from better composition or even rule of thirds considered

I like the monochrome as well, the others, unfortunately, all suffer, to a greater or lesser degree from lack of fill. With balanced fill, the first three would have all been very nice shots.
