okay, so my friend is a photographer and i get a lot of great advice from her! she wants to be a professional when she gets older(even though she pretty much is one now). but she just wanted some feedback from some fellow photographers on a picture she did at photo shoot the baby's name is Abby and she is just precious! my friend told me it was the easiest baby she's ever worked with anyways, leave some feedback and some suggestions on how the photo could be better! all rights go to Kaitlin's Photography

I feel the overall lighting in the shot is bad. The baby's hair has taken on a greenish cast from the bright yellowgreen and blown out grass in the background, plus that grass line cuts right thru the top of the childs head. The childs skin also has a very red color cast and shadow from the slide she's sitting on. I agree with Schwettylens, it looks like a typical mom with a camera photo.

I have to agree with Schwetty, the lighting needs work..The background is overexposed and the child is underexposed. Nothing special about this picture, IMO.

The OP says the person who took the photo is a "photographer". So what is a photographer in this case? Someone with a camera?

I imagine to the baby's mother thinks the photo is great - any photo of their child is great. I assume all MWC's (Moms With Camera) clients think all her photos are great, so she must be a photographer.
