One of my friends got arrested for carjacking another friend

It's such a surreal feeling. Drugs were involved but since I'd moved he told me he had stopped using. Unfortunately that doesn't seem to be the case. According to the friend whose car he stole, he never really slowed down. It kind of makes me feel somehow dissociated, because he'd never appeared to be a danger and he was visiting in a few weeks. I literally talked to him like last weekend.
