Great expressions; maybe a touch more contrast in the conversion though? They're kind of mid-tone heavy.

I agree, the blacks look 'faded'. Contrast is not (usually) bad, lol.

The photos look good, especially the first one, but they could use a boost in contrast.

These are both such nice captures; I hope you keep tweaking them! It isn't going to take much - they are a little flat, but too much contrast and the highlight on her cheeks in the first one might go a little wonky. She has such an expressive little face! The images just need a little more snap to them, and you have a couple of winners.
