Portrait shot at an old railroad station

Hey,

I've shot this portrait of a friend.
The the location was pretty cool, it's an old railroad station.
What do you think?

Interesting, but IMO, the subject occupies so little of the frame, that calling it a portrait is a bit of a stretch. I also think a different shooting position to eliminate the bright background lights might have helped.

I agree, there is that air of "trying to look cool by not looking like you care" when he obviously does haha. Looks like a great little spot though.

I think that I could deal with the station lights as a distraction but the white stripes on his shirt is just too much of one.
His face is competing with both brighter larger spots and losing.
