Santa Clause photographer!

I got the call tonight that I'm going to be one of the photographers at our mall for Santa Clause. The lady in charge said I could definitely pass out cards of my own and attempt to 'drum up' business for myself if I want to...Oh yeah! lol I know this gig won't be utilizing anything I know about photography as I'll just be pushing a button and getting kids to laugh, but it's a step in the right direction for me so yes I'm excited! Wish me luck and I'll post pics of my own if it does get me any personal business!

Congrats. You will learn more about family/children photography than you think. Getting kids to laugh and pushing a button is a little more difficult than you might think. Especially when they are horrified of Santa. It will be a learning experience for sure. I mean sure you're not using manual flashes and all that, but the people part.
