Please. No rude comments. Only *constructive* criticism (ie. back patting, extreme praise, unending awe at my skill...). :hail:

I know, I know "I hate the watermark".

There. Got it outta the way for ya. :sexywink:

Good focus, nice bokeh.

My complaint is her skin. I don't know if it's makeup or any processing you did, but it looks like her skin has tiny bumps... like sandpaper... doesn't look like "normal" skin. Looks like bad makeup or weird processing.

Overall, I like it ..... However .......

I just don't like the way that she have her fingers press against her face. It steal some attentions. If she just touch her face and stop, that maybe better.

And I think I will put a layer mask and blur the background a little more to get it a little less distraction.

Thanks for your feedback. :sillysmi:

Could be the way I processed it. I did some skin smoothing, but I didn't want to completely KILL the texture in her skin... so maybe I just didn't smooth it enough.

I'm not a people photographer for the most part, but my instant reaction was "Oh... neat!"

Just for clarification sake...

Do you mean have her like she's *about* to touch her face and take the shot before she actually does? Or do you mean something else?

What about the background is distracting to you? I'm not disputing your C&C, I'm just curious to know, so that *I* know what's distracting about it.

Thanks! Haha, that means a lot coming from you... I don't think you've *EVER* "oh neat!"ed a single photo of mine.

PEOPLE, THAT'S IT! I'VE MADE IT!

I IZ A PHOTOGRAFUR NOW!

:lmao:

Nah, but seriously, thanks! :sillysmi:

Sorry about my English. :p
Let me explain a little more. If she just touch her face, that's good. But it seems like her fingers were pressing slightly again her face.

As for the background, the bokeh looks a .. just a little .. tiny..... busy that all. :D

Okay, yeah, I gotchya now. She was pushing a little. I kept trying to get her to relax her fingers, but by the time I'd pull her nails out of her face and then lifted the camera she had pressed them in again.

Not an excuse, I know.

I always love your work so I think I'm a little biased! But I love it! I really want to know how you do the skin smoothing so I can try it! Really love this picture! I don't think brown eyes get enough credit! :)

Thanks :sillysmi:

The skin smoothing changes with every shoot I do, haha. As I learn more I do it a little differently ever time. This time it was a combination of Frequency Separation and inverted high pass.

Youtube those and play with 'em. :sillysmi:
