Striking a pose

I saw this anhinga drying his wings. Though it was nearly at the end of my lens range, I couldn't pass up the grandiose pose.

Now lighten the back, invert it, tone map it, then make it look evil. lolol.

The way the sunlight illuminates through the wing and tail feathers, even the beak, is especially good. You definitely captured it from the best angle. You could probably crop it further to better better display that glow, and eliminate the tilted shoreline.

Jaemie: Thanks. I might crop it vertically. I didn't want to crop any more horizontally because I wanted to give a sense of proportion to the wingspan -- its probably about 4 ft.
