This weeks highlights

What a weekend. Thursday night D2 college game, Friday night HS Rivalry game and then Saturday night under the big lights of BCS Oklahoma State.

1) Canon 1D mk IV, 300mm f/2.8L IS USM, f/2.8, 300mm, 1/1250, ISO2500. Cropped pretty tight because someone stepped right in front of me as they were about to pitch.

2) Canon 1D mk IV, 300mm f/2.8L IS USM, f/2.8, 1/1600, ISO6400

3) Canon 1D mk IV, 300mm f/2.8L IS USM, f/3.2, 1/1600, ISO1600

I try to stay away from other photographers for that reason. They also restrict my arc of movement.
Sometime when they get excited, some of them jump towards the sideline, to get the play coming down the sideline, and I get a great shot of their back.

I was at a game the other week, and was in the opponents team box.
Their coaches kept walking back and forth, in front of me. Another reason to not be in the team box.

#2, I hope your team was in red.

This wasn't even a photographer that got in my way. But I got the part that counted of the shot. I've had that happen a bunch. Even had coaches in the way when I'm not in the box.

yes, my team was in the red (home) jerseys. They won 38-0.
