Haha,w ell yah, tittle says it all, but something to do with my camera, i know i didnt even get it yet! Haha but i do want to get serious as i can with it
Soooo whats some good extra things i can get?
My mom asked me today, and she said she'll spend what she has, but i dont want to go crazy and be selfish, considering i dont want to i guess be greedy and spend all my moms money considering financial situations at the moment
Sooo 300$, or a little more, She thinks im wasting my money on this stuff, but i want to show her i would like to be serious. SOO what are some minor upgrades i could use? Any suggestion's, would be fantastic : )
Thanks!
(Sorry for all these questions haha i dont mean to be annoying)

Well, a collapsable reflector is a nice item. Its for indoors and out and you can use it to take a nice photo of your mom.

Was that supposed to be a joke?..
Because.. im 14, its not like im 45..

14 year olds cannot take photos of their mother?

I am 31.... who can I take pictures of?

No you misunderstood what i was asking, ifigured she was making fun of me cause my mother was buying me something..

Maybe she was implying that you take a photo of your mother as a sort of thanks for buying you presents... it will also allow you a way to show her you are serious about photography.

Or maybe she was making fun of you, you never know :er::er:

No. Not at all. My daughters appreciate everything I do for them and if they were shutterbugs and I contributed to the enhancement of their passions, they would reward me with an example of their work since in our family we operate as support for one anothers efforts and achievements and they happen to support what I like to do.

I reward them with studio photos they can share and post to FB since I am the photo taker.

YMMV.

Oh haha, than im sorry, im used to people on forums being sarcastic and mean when i ask questions, sorry xD
Now, the question that is probably going to make you want to kill me..
What exactly is a reflector? I mean i understand it reflects something, but what for light?

Ok then. A reflector is a nice tool to use to take portrait photos. It is used to reflect light on a subject and eliminate shadows that are not flattering. Its not expensive and can be used along with your pop-up flash to add fill light. Its a standard for photographers and if you google it you will find all sorts of youtubes and details on how to use it in your photography. If you decide on pursuing portraits I'll bet you have a bunch of friends who would like to be your subject. Good luck with your photography and have a Merry Christmas.

Get the 55-250mm $250

Only 204$ : ) Haha
Now, i have a question
Will the 50-250mm be used all the time once i get it?
Or will i be better off using the 18-55mm for certain things and the 50-250mm for others?
Thanks

You'll use both!

One will let you zoom in on stuff far away.
