Frozen Atmosphere

[FadeOut]

So last night my wife and I saw this strange phenomena outside, We think its because the atmosphere is so dense/cold that ice crystals are stuck in the sky and the lights from the city are reflecting off of all the crystals, pretty sweet looking, thanks for checking it out!

Those are the aliens heading back to the mother ship. They want to be home for the end of all things on December 21st.
They took all the cheese curds with them ...

That's what we thought at first, this site talks about Aurora Borealis -----> HowStuffWorks "How does the aurora borealis (the Northern Lights) work?"

so this phenomena isn't that, not sure what it would be called.. anyone have a clue?

Hm, you might be right about ice crystals in the atmosphere: Strange columns of light in sky caused by ice crystals
