Nikon 50mm 1.4g vs 1.8g. Which one should I buy?

I have read from several sources that the f/1.4 G-series 50mm focuses more slowly than the f/1.8 G-series model does. In the link Braineack posted ( Nikon 50mm 1.4G vs 50mm 1.8G - ima|foto ) it was pretty clear that wide-open, coma was much less well-corrected in the more expensive f/1.4 model.

I had the 50/1.8G, 50/1.4G and 50/1.8D all at the same time.
It was Very noticeable focusing lag of the 1.4G.
but then I was switching between the 3 so it easy to compare.
The 1.8D and 1.8G were comparable speeds.

All my mediocre tests were indoor so I didn't get any washout from the sun.

Get the 1.8G, I have the 1.4G

If you have money get the Sigma Art 50mm /1.4
