Photos dark with iPhone 5s

My iPhone takes good photos when I am using it in a day but not in night even with Flash. The photo quality is very low in night; dots dots on photos like less pixels.
Is it with everyone or only my phone does this?

Mine works fine.

That should be qualified, though. I don't think the iPhone 5S is worth a damn at all for flash photos. So, yeah, mine takes crappy flash photos, too. I think that's how it's designed...

That's PROBABLY... because there is not LIGHT... which is sort of a requirement for quality photos...

What they said - the camera on the iPhone is decent when there's lots of light, you don't have to worry about depth of field, etc, but any time you're in a situation where you need to control an aspect of the image aside from composition, even the cheapest DSLR will beat it hands-down!

That's the way all cameras with tinny tiny sensors work.

Simple rule to get good results. Cellphones for phone calls and Camera's for photos. My 1Dx is great for photos, but it sucks for calling people.
