Well, this thread was enlightening! I'm new because I was just looking for another photography site to see what I could pick up along the way. I already belong to the NAPP site, Canon forum and DPS. Critiques are fine; I either take them or disregard them. Everyone has their own opinion about what a photo should look like so I don't take anything to heart. I don't mind criticism. I just don't like rude. I've checked out the galleries and seen lots of stuff I wouldn't put up but... seems like a nice place to hang. We'll see. LOL!

Welcome. I come here for the social aspect. Kind of like the corner bar in a small town where everyone has opinions, every stereotype is represented but at the end of the day we're all just here for a shot and a beer.

I grew up in CT!! I live in ho bunk middle of nowhere Wisconsin for about 2 yrs lol. I grew up in Windsor and lived in enfield for a bit and out in the boonies union. If u even know where that is rofl!!

At the beginning the New Year everyone will think they want to do a 365 day photo challenge. It's where you take a picture everyday for a year. People usually get about 2 weeks in and quit.

I know Windsor quite well and even know where Union is! That really is out in the boonies! LOL! Now you can really ROFL!!! I moved away from Enfield when I was 28.

Oh, yes. Photographers abound the week after Christmas. We'll lose about 75% of them in the next few weeks! Then after income tax comes in we'll see another influx!

Which is pretty much the same traffic pattern that most health clubs will be experiencing. Except for the tax return part.
