Hey everyone!

My name is Alex and I'm hardly a professional. I've been doing photography as a passive hobby for about five years. A couple months ago I got into film and it changed the way I look at photography as an art. I'm really enjoying photography in a way I don't think I was able to before.

My roommates and I started a YouTube channel that's mostly just about us figuring it all out.

That's not why I'm here though. I'm pretty awful about being social and kinda shy in person so I thought I'd just go online to see if there were any photography forums that would make a nice home for me to hang my camera and have a chit chat. This place seemed pretty friendly from what I saw so I wanted to give it a shot and introduce myself and maybe make a couple friends. We'll see.
